Discolored maps

I noticed that my maps look nothing like in the screen shots. Mine are colored brown, mixed with a darker brown (only these two colors), covering the whole map.

When installing the game, I received this message:

Could that have anything to do with it?

I had no problem installing Direct X 9.0c

Except for the discolored maps, the game mechanics seem to be working fine.

Is this happening in all of the scenarios?

Try updating the game with the last patch and check if there's any difference.

Unzip the downloaded file. Run the extracted file to update the game.

Updated to the last patch, still no difference [&:] and it affects all scenarios.

Attached a pic of a winter map, looks a little different. I'll try to reinstall my nvidia driver, see if that helps.

I have exactly the same problem as described above. All the maps are brown. The menu seems to be normal. I've already reinstalled the game and its latest patches twice. Additionally, I have also reinstalled my nvidia-driver twice.

I have to admit that it worked with an older version of my graphics driver. However, there seems to be a compatibility problem sometimes...

ok, we would need a screenshot and all logs you can get. See these threads for additional information:

Post those as a zip here in the forum or send to wendt@anvil-soft.com.

After that we should be able to determine the cause.

Hello,

you logs lead us to the cause of the error. There is a difference in the format of the shadow texture between the game and the new Nvidia driver.

The next version will resolve this. Thanks for reporting.

Sadly there is nothing you can do about it right now other than switch back the the driver version the game worked with in the past or wait for the next update.
