It is possible with the editor to transport by air an infantry unit with truck (picture before landing).
When you move the plane, the truck consumed some gasoline (picture after landing).

actually it should not be possible to move the trucks along. This slipped through as it almost never is used.

I have just realized that the first example was badly chosen because in the editor there is an option for the air transport :

The air transport does not still work.
The air transport is brought down to the ground, impossible of it selected :
