So I personally prefer the small and medium scenarios to regiment level. For larger I find the waiting time too long to turn it back. Of course you could mow or go shopping at this time lawn but I want if I play games too and not to look [8D]

In mine, quite the opposite.

I agree, and stand by my statement; "to the detriment of the game."

But, by now it is no longer CS? Nor, in anyway "new" and/or "improved".

And yes, regardless of any of your snarky retorts, there are those who do not see much positive to what you are doing to JTCS.
Before you get confused I am not talking about the graphics. I do like the 3-D and the new 2-D. Though not much for what you are doing to the terrain.

You know you are erecting a strawman?

I've given my opinion, just like everyone else, and stated what I like and don't like about what you are doing to the game. Surely, you don't need to put words into my mouth. [:-]

There are a lot less things that I like compared to the many that I do not.

I don't recall, hence the question.

Feel free to elaborate though!

Trying to get a copy of the East Front II scenario "Hungarian Rhapsody". Only source I could find is at Blitz. Unfortunately the file is corrupt and half the map is missing. Is there any other source? Thanks

That's a custom scenario and not a stock scenario right? I'd make a post at the Blitz about this if you haven't done so yet.

Hi Ed,

Unfortunately that scenario was made under the 1.03 revision long ago. The current revision of the game is 2.02.

I downloaded it and took a look and you are correct but the scenario file itself is corrupt. The map file and org files in the editors look OK. The original designers blanked out the bottom part of the map with impassible hexes.

The real issue is the scenario file itself. If you look at the description the Author and Date don't make sense they are numbers and not alpha numeric. Also the first line of the description has a bunch of numbers which shouldn't be. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix that.

As Crossroads said you may want to post over at the blitz and perhaps Jeepster777 & Tide1 the original designers. May see that and give you the corrected file. You could also try sending them a PM. I haven't seen either one of them at the blitz for a while.

Sorry I couldn't be more help with this Ed.

Regards,
John

Hi Don,

That's weird.

The forum won't let me attach a zip file so I sent it to you in a PM.
