Feldzugschmiede

Post by Eagle-FZS »

In the 4 months that the blog of the Feldzugschmiede is online there were 2000 page views from 25 countries from 5 continents. The uploaded downloads have been clicked over 600 times. I did not think that the resonance is so great in this already somewhat older game.

Thanks for your interest !

I am in the process of creating new hypothetical units such as E-75 and E-100 as well as cleaning up older bmps that have slight flaws. JTCS is still very much alive and well! These LCGs are something I've always wished for.

I just got a program called Pixelformer. It's a simple program and good for me as I have just started to get into bmp editing and I'm learning fast. If you need any assistance just give me a shout!

Dirk,
I send you a heartfelt "DANKE", for all of your work creating these wonderful LCGs. You certainly have kept this great title alive and well for all of us who appreciate JTCS, by giving us a multitude of NEW situations to enjoy.
I can't get over the breath of effort you have performed.
As an RS enthusiast, I have installed ALL of the RS LCGs. I've yet to fill my machine with all downloads from the European Theatre games., but intend to do so, 'some day'. Please post here IF, you should ever intend to discontinue the FELDZUGSCHMIEDE website.
Again THANK YOU so much for making these games possible. An excellent effort!

The praise is not due to me alone but also G. Heizelmann with whom I founded the Feldzugschmiede 2003 and in the course of the next years 4 additional CDs have created from which the LCGs offered in the blog come. For these additional CDs, besides G.Heinzelmann and myself, well-known German scenario designers like F.Wartenberg (Cobra), T.Stieber (Puma) and Ergli have provided scenarios. These scenarios I will, if they are not already present in JTCS, also publish in the blog.

That's good to hear that more content is coming. I just love your blog!![;)]

I've played a couple of F.Wartenberg's scenarios long ago when JTCS was under the 1.03 version I believe.
As I can remember they were pretty good, balanced and providing a lot of play action!

However, I don't know if they are present under the current 2.02 version of the game.

Update, I checked the blitz data base and some of Mr. Wartenberg's scenarios are posted there. There were 3 under East Front II
and 8-10 under West Front. I downloaded a couple from each game and they pulled up OK in the editor in both EFII and West Front.
So I'd say they are OK for JTCS 2.02. You can search by author under both games.

Thanks Dirk!

Hi Oberst,

Sorry I don't. The only thing I know of is the LCG on the Grossdeutchland during the Kursk offensive.
