First what a great game. Amazing to still be playing after all these years.

recently I thought I'd try some of the new countries. Just thought I would try to generate a battle. I tried to do republican spain vs nationalist spain in 1936 and I get error messages even though it looks like it should work.

Now I also wanted to pit Italy vs Ethiopia in 1935 but it won't seem to let me. And I tried to match up US vs USSR 1953 and again it won't work. I would think all of these should work but am I missing something?

Due to OOB and organization gaps and other issues, not all possible random battle combos will work. It's hit or miss.
