Looking for an opponent

Post by dobeln »

Hi!

Looking for someone to play. Open for playing most things of reasonable scope. Suggestions:

Large:
- America Divided 1940. Now long-forgotten large hypothetical of a situation where the CSA prevailed, and the US and CSA are locked in a cold war about to become hot. If you are not put off by hypotheticals, this one is a lot of fun. (PBEM:ed this one back in the day)

Medium:
- Korea 50-51
Fun, albeit a bit predictable.

- Red Thunder 88
This one could be very interesting.

You pick the side, or suggest alternate scenarios. :)

Is Red Thunder Cold War? I have not looked at it yet. I've been messing around with "The Next War 1979" and would love to test my meddle against a capable American opponent in that one.
The x-ray is her siren song. My ship cannot resist her long. Nearer to my deadly goal. Until the black hole. Gains control...

Not looking for an opponent myself, but for this scenario... Is it playable in TOAW III ?
I'll probably can find it in one of the online wargaming communities?

You can find the scenario here:

http://www.wargamer.com/gamesdepot/details.asp?sid=261

In order to play it, just open it in the scenario editor and then save it. The scenario will then be converted to TOAW III format automatically. It's a lot of fun to play! :) (Large map, but manageable unit density makes for a lot of large-scale maneuver warfare.) Would be fun if someone would update it. (Wink-wink, nudge-nudge to all the scenario designers out there ;) )

Got it, and yeah this seems a nice one [8D]
So if I got it right all scenarios made for COW can be converted to TOAW III?
