I'm playing the game and I have a question

Post by U2 »

Hi all,

When I play a scenario I have NO IDEA how many resources I have to refit or purchase new units for. I have looked everywhere, read the manual, but I can't find a stupid number anywhere.

When a scenario is over you have the chance to purchase new units or upgrade them but I have NO IDEA how many resources I have to do this with since I can't find a stupid number for it anywhere.

When I played PG I did not have to read a manual to answer the question how many resources I have and where to actually find that number. How difficult can it be to make a game where I can see how many resources I have?????

Sorry if I sound negative but if a game makes me feel stupid when I can't find something important that should be obvious....

Otherwise this game is good, but just like all the flashy 3D PG spin-offs nothing is as good as PG 1. Why is it so difficult to not screw up such a good game? After Panzer, Allied and Pacific General it all went downhill with 3D and "flashy" graphics.

In the bottom window, General Information, on the far right, the top number with the crossed tools, is the number of total resources.

Below that is your Victory points total.

OK, you have to want to have that info menu. I've fixed that now. Can't believe that important info like that is not available at all times without having to check a box in the setting menu.

Thanks for your help

You are most welcome. It should have been on by default when you installed the game.

I'm surprised that was not on by default, it has always been on by default in the past. I'll check this for the first update.

No way! What's the Info Area called to toggle it on?

I thought the game just left it out.

Thanks for the post U2.

No no no...that window is on by default. I installed the game and started playing immediately, and that window was there. Yes, you can turn it off, but it's there on startup. [:-]
