maybe i'm dense here but there not on my selection panel at setup/deployment. they only show on the selection panel when they arrive. they haven't arrived yet, but the forces that have don't show until they arrive on map. sorry i'm confused here.

I'm up to turn 3 and orders are plotted.

after deployment, ready to jump off.

These units arrived in the center on turn 2 and immediately came under fire from an ATG.

Turn 3 orders about to run.

1. infantry clearing woods, progressed to the yellow line, so far no contact.

2. units arrived turn 2. Tanks held during turn 2 while exchanging fire with an ATG.
Infantry started moving right away. 4 squads panzer grenadiers move right towards woods, 3 squads regular infantry move toward tree line.

3. tanks with riders finishing up shifting right, waiting on the woods to be cleared out.

4.Units arrived turn 3. I was conflicted on what to do with these units....shift them right to join the other units, which would take a few turns or probe the left. I'm going to probe the left and see whats up. The tanks will hold for at least one turn while MG's get aboard and they target a couple gunpits. The infantry have a cautious bound order to move forward toward tree line. The circles are the targeted gunpits.

I'm up to turn 11.

Stage one pretty much complete with only 3 casualties. 2 were the at guns that arrived in the middle of the map way far forward of my forces and died the start on the next phase[screenshot in question thread].

On the right the forest section pretty much cleared. Turns out the foxholes were not occupied. On the left i reached the tree line.

On the right after clearing the woods manged to get my mortars into action. Firing on the gunpit.

On the right. My most forward squad. you can see the mortar fire landing on the gunpit top right.

On the right. The 2 yellow circles are my mortars, the red circle is the gunpit their firing on. Red Arrow > going to send 3 squads and a 222 to recon forward, they should be able to remain hidden by the slope.
Image

On the left. Approaching tree line, MG gets killed by mortar fire while riding on tank.

On the left. I've reached the tree line and i am waiting for the infantry to regain stamina.
