Hi,

where can i find help about campaign editor ?

What key battle and repeat battle are for ?

Is it possible to build a tree of scenarios ?
When a scenario is not completed does the campaign continue on the same map until it's completed with the losses of the previous fight ?

Thx

In the Documents folder of PCO is Random Battle and Campaign Generator Addendum.
Conflict of Heroes "Most games are like checkers or chess and some have dice and cards involved too. This game plays like checkers but you think like chess and the dice and cards can change everything in real time."

Hi,

......

Key Battles and repeat Battles are used in Random Campaigns. Key Battles are Battles that will always be present in random Campaigns. repeat battles allow you to set a set of parameters for random battles in a campaign and specify how many times those parameters are used to create different random battles.

Not currently, only linear campaigns are possible within the editor. But that is definitely one of the things I'd like to see in future games in the series.

when you lose a battle in the Campaign, you can choose to replay the battle with your forces at same level as when you played it the first time, or you can choose to skip a battle. I believe skipping a battle will have a negative impact on your final campaign score.

the docs junk2drive referes to gives you a fuller explanation and really need to be read if you want create your own historical or Random Campaign. Personally I found creating a Historical campaign easier to start with.

Thanks
Rick

If it's not too difficult to implement it would be a good idea to provide the result of a battle in an xml file with the state of units after the battle.
It would allow players to build their own campaign system with track of the losses all along the battles of the campaign.
It would be particularly useful for a multiplayer customized campaign system.
