Scenario Depository?

Post by Mad Russian »

I thought Matrix was going to do a scenario depository. Is that something I dreamed?

I have some scenarios that I could put on there if there was one. The Elephant Hunt could be made available for one.

Good Hunting.

Check out the sticky junk2drive posted in the msg on top of this. Or you this link: http://www.matrixgames.com/community/scenarios.asp

I have not been able to upload maps to it though. I haven't attempted uploading a scenario only.

Thanks

So, what you're saying is that it doesn't work?

That's okay but when will it become operational?

Do you have to create a separate account for the Game Center?

It looks like you can download the scenarios without being logged in. Unless my being logged in here works in the Game Center as well.

At the moment there are only files for about 4 games. Unfortunately PCO isn't one of those.

I'd like to put at least Elephant Hunt on the available downloads list but so far I've not seen where you can upload a scenario in any form.

Good Hunting.

MR,

Yes, I think you nood to be logged in using your "member" login. Then you will see a button to upload scenarios.

Thanks

And what about the file? It comes as a game file and a map file. Will it accept files that large?

Try zipping and uploading your map first. I don't think it will take it, but I may have been doing something wrong, or they may have fixed it to allow larger sized.

thanks

Is it possible to have the human player pick his own force?
This includes quick battles as well.

I do this by editing a scenario and adding more platoons but leaving unaltered max points, in this manner both player have the possibilities to pick what they want.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

Edit: I found it! click on "Unit Selection Pool" and set it to greater than 1.
This allows me to purchase my units.
This is with the current beta version (v2.0.329d Beta)
