I have a problem of the tanks having winter cammo in October. How can that be and how can that be fixed?

In the scenario editor, before selecting your units, use the dropdown on the 4th line to change models to summer. The default is winter because OWS was the first game of the series. I do not think you can change the camo after the units are on the map so you would need to delete any units with winter camo and reselect them.

Ok thanks that works.

Next question. How can I deploy an off-map artillery? When I purchase it and place it outside the map the scenario won't save and pop error message that on-line unit cannot be placed off-map. How do you make it off-map?

Next question, can you set the units advance routes? (A battle plan for the AI)

If the error states that it is an on map unit then it is an on map unit. I can't think of a way at this moment for someone to be able to tell the difference.

No battle plans/scripts/routing for the AI. Best you can do is give it flags to go after.

Ok I chose another artillery unit and it let me deploy outside the map.

How can I place grass and other undergrowth in the forest? What should I set to structure ty pe for grass and bushes int he forest? (I set none to trees - so it made build faster)

How can I make forests seriously block LOS?

There is an appendix in the Map Maker Document that describes how to add "vegetation" to your map. Once you've done it a couple of times, it becomes fairly easy.
