Don't forget! The Support Sites - More SPWAW

Post by Wild Bill »

As if there weren't enough right here to keep you busy for two lifetimes and create havoc in your schedule, don't forget the fabulous websites that support SPWAW.

Both Rick Cloutier of the TANKHEAD SPWAW SITE
http://sites.netscape.net/rcclout

And Fabio Prado's THE ARMOR SITE
http://www.fprado.com/armorsite/main.html

are very active and changing constantly. They have SPWAW scenarios you may not find anywhere else.

They include fighting in Italy (Roadblock!) and Amphibious Airborne (Market Garden).

And there are others you'll surely want to have.

To you scenarios designers, be sure and send Rick and Fabio your scenarios for posting on their sites. That is why they are there.

Support those who support us, please. Let these guys know we appreciate their efforts.

And if you have a website going in support of SPWAW, please let me know.

Bill fella, I know you and Spunkah of the Gibbon were considering a generated battle map suppository or something like that, any news?

If changes to the map functions are likely to happen in v3.0 then waiting would be a good idea. We have played on maps we designed a couple of times but getting the deployment, victory hexes and retreat locations right is a nightmare!

Personally I think looking at a good map and deciding what forces and tactics are needed to win on that map, and executing that plan is the best thing about SPWaW.

I find I don't care about my units as much in scenarios because I didn't buy them! :evil

I've done a cool town map too, wanna game? Image
