strange icons in 8.403

I dled assault on yonton and when i played it all the japanese suicide squads were trucks.I also tried another enhanced scen{can't remember the name}involving a german airborne attack on a belgian airfield.All the hq's that were airlanded were swimmvagens.I can't picture a vehicle being parachuted in!

Have you installed the Enhanced Mod with ModSwapper? The problem you describe is likely due to not having the correct OOBs installed.

I know what the problem is,I didn't dl the enhanced mod {idiot} but unfortunatly the depots enhanced mod doesn't support my resumeable dl program.I have dial-up and it took me having to subscribe to file planet to dl 8.2 and use their dl manager{took 15 hours}

But at a rate of 3.0 kb per sec still will take 8 hours according to the save dialog,no way will go that leangth without getting kicked off.Also I dled the das reich and russian steel from same site and used my dl manager by default.Why the distinction you would think the larger file would reasonably be expected to be same?

Hey Barkhorn.

What resumable download program are you using? Getright? Have you tried any other programs? Filezilla supports resumable downloads and it is free:

If you downloaded SPWAW 8.2 successfully, even with FilePlanet's download software, then you should be able to download the enhanced mod.

If you still can't get it to resume, let me know.

I had getright at first{in fact I used it to get my original spwaw 5.0 back in 2001}but switched to DAP.But I was getting to much spyware from it so switched to the star program and have'nt had any problems,run's at a fairly good 5.4 kps consistently.

I'm not familiar with any of those. I've only used getright and filezilla. Both have worked well for me in the past.

So have you been able to download enhanced using star, or is that the program you are having trouble with currently? And only on the Depot?

the answer is yes to both questions,it is the program I used and it won't work on the enhanced fike I can't get
