What the Heck is a "Seep"?

Post by KG Erwin »

This never occurred to me -- so now, we can tow in arty from offshore? Nice -- I like it.

Marine driver: "Whaddaya mean, I can't drive through water? Watch THIS!" I have this cartoon-like image of a jeep towing a pack howitzer across the sea floor, with bubbles coming from the driver's mouth as he hums the Marine Hymn . [:D]

Ken, I'll take that as a compliment. As a baby boomer, I grew up with classic cartoons and comic books, many of which had WWII themes. Exagerrated heroism and an underlying sense of patriotism was a common thread in many of them. What did they use to say about Superman? "Fighting for truth, justice and the AMERICAN way."
