game running slow and jerky

Post by oldrocky »

After resolving some major PC problems i run spwaw and it plays very slow and jerky. A tank round can be viewed traveling for a second or two towards its target. This is how slow its become. I recall years ago i had a similar prob and resolved it in hardware acceleration i think. Where do i adjust the hardware acceleration and what is the recommended settings for spwaw? Your help is certainly appreciated.

There are no 'in game' adjustments. Make sure you have DirectX installed, then go to the DirectX folder and run DxDiag (its actually in a folder called 'setup' within the DirectX directory). This will tell you if your video card is utilizing the DirectX components.

I'm looking to adjust my hardware acceleration on my PC-- not in the game itself.
