Victory levels

Post by Penetrator »

Darn, this is an old one, but I still don't have it figured out.

How are the victory level calculated? Think it was supposed to be

minor victory 2:1 or better;
major victory 5:1 or better.

That does not conform with experience though. Any thoughts?

Victory Ratio's

Post by Supervisor »

SPWaW Victory Ratios explained.

Human vs computer
More than 1-3 Decisive Loss
1-3 to 3-1 Draw
3-1 to 7-1 Minor victory
7-1 Higher Major victory

The odds vs human player are a little lower. This is due to the predictable action of the AI in computer generated battles.

Human vs. Human
More than 1-2 Decisive Loss
1-2 to 2-1 Draw
2-1 to 6-1 Minor victory
6-1 Higher Major victory

Okay thanks. That sounds plausible.

I'd prefer forgetting those strict numbers and check out the battle map after the battle with your opponent. It's quite easy to determine who is the winner, of if the battle ended in a draw :)

Yes, I've often tried to point this out to the game when I think I deserve more rebuild points for my next campaign battle;)
