Camapign Fix-Preparing the Way

Howdy again,

How do you install this?

Reading the download page, it says to down load the 3 files into the campaign directory. Which 3 files? There are 6 in the zip file and they are dupes of each other, but with different dates.

When unzipped in my temp dir, 3 unzip in temp and the other 3 unzip in \Final Campaigns\Preparing the Way-Final\Campaign Files-Final\.

So how do I do this?

I searched the forums but didn't find any posts pertaining to this.

Well I just found Wild Bill's post about the zip file having six files and what to do.

Looks like I didn't search good enough.

Seems like I'm in a similar situation as you Snowman. I've got the campaign fix, but haven't been able to locate Bill's post re: installation instructions. Could you point me in the right direction, or provide some info on the proper install?

Nothing complicated, Peacemaker. Simply unzip the files and load them into your campaigns subdirectory. They will overwrite the files that are already there and should be no problem.

yep,,, understand that part, but the zip I d/l'd has a total of 6 files in it. It contains 6 files, but there are 2 sets of 3 names, just that it appears that the zip package wants to load them into 2 diferen directories. Is this correct?

I used the files dated 9/20/00. I think that's what Bill said to do.

Q1 where are the files to be obtained?
Q2 Does this fix the exploding tanks in set up problem I am encountering (v4.3b still) or do i need to upgrade to v4.4?

Do a search for campaign files, I think that's how I found it.

Don't know about the exploding tanks.

It is a zip file to be found in the SPWAW Game Depot listing. You can find it there. I will update it with just the three files instead of the six....WB
