Rearranging my Window's icons

From time to time, when I close out and exit SP:WAW, I would find all my desktop icons rearranged at the upper left hand corner of my screen, I know this is strictly a screen resolution issue but is there a way to keep my regular 1024x768 resolution, play the game and exit without needing to either 'dumb down' my resolution or rearrange my icons regularly?

Turn "auto arrange" Off. that should clear it up, when you change resolution it arranges them for the new rez, when it switches back its happy with them as is...

Thanks much for getting back just like that. I never use the auto-arrange option when right-clicking on the desktop; I like to arrange my icons into their own little groups- that's the problem

Try setting the resolution to 800x600 first, then starting the game?
