Mines Crashing the Game Problem

Post by vahauser »

Greetings,

While playing 8.4 I've noticed that exploding mines often cause the game to crash to the "black screen of death". Anybody else notice this? Any solutions?

Thanks,
Victor

One thing I've found out is that if you have your video card set to display at 16-bit rather than 32-bit resolution, it improves performance. I did this on my Dell, and frankly, SPWaW now looks better than before. Don't forget that this game will suck up 100% of your system resources. ALL background applications need to be shut down before play.
