Black Screen

Okey I am getting some stupid problem similair to the one I had with 8.2 and 8.3 The thing is the screen goes black and than I ahve to click on something to get it off or move my mouse over every single piece of the monitor. How the f*%& do I fix this? It is really annoying which coincides witht he 2nd problem. It keep flashing a black screen like every 30 seconds and it is annoying as hell. How do I fix both those problems?

This also includes black stripes coming on my screen and being able to see a small rectangle when the forces are shooting at each others. really annoying

I had this problem sometime back, after updating a video driver.
I rolled back to a previous driver and it went away.
Then yesterday, I upgraded my anti virus program (grisofts AVG free version) and it reappeared!!!
Even when shuting down my anti virus resident shield.
so I had to go back and do a system restore to the day before I upgraded my anti virus program and now its went away again...
That definately is an annoying probelm...and I sure dont see how upgrading my AV program caused it but it sure did.
As time and technology goes on, more and more things are causing problems with spwaw...

It'a all about the background processes you have running at the same time: AV scanners, spyware trackers, screensavers, email checkers, and more. The more stuff you have running that 'shares' CPU time, the more often you're going to see the 'black screen'. It's basically an issue of your display adapter beig told to 'redraw' the display, which cuts out the SPWAW display program.

Turning off these things usually reduces or eliminates the problem.

Well I tried it last night after my internet went out and I still had it, maybe I will go back to 8.2 where the screens goes black and just crashes the game, Sigh....[:(]
