Engineers - mine laying

Post by Shawmut »

Manual indicates "Training Scenario #9" for the Engineers. According to my scenario screens, it is #6 (opening with Sov. and Ger.) units. Number nine (#9) is Quesnoy.

I am trying to get the hang of 'mine -laying, clearing, etc.
Any help or simplification is appreciated.

Thank you

right click on your engineer unit
then look for Green sentence that says
"will clear mines in front of unit"
if you click on that you can change it to
"place mines in front of unit"
or
"will not clear mines in front of unit"

Note: You do not have to purchase "Mines" in order for the engineers to lay them.

Thanks DRO, Flash and Alby.
I'm trying to get into this whole thing to enjoy it. I just play the scenarioes singles and haven't got into purchasing and some of the other elements (like whole unit movements, etc.). Sometimes the tutorials can be a work-out. I seem to be taking five-times the suggested time to conduct a routine 'set - to".

Thanks again
