I've been playing SP:WaW and SP:MBT for quite a while now and I love them both, but I've always had one big problem with it; the ammount of small scale battles is almost depressing! It seems that every campaign and scenario I try out has 50+ tanks or 100+ squads of infantry, over ridiculously massively huge maps. That kind of stuff is VERY out of my league!
See, even though I've played for just over a year (not counting when I was a kid, messing around with the original), I never became good at anything besides small scale stuff (500-1500 being my strong point, 1500-3000 being where I start to lose it). In fact, a surefire way to beat me in PBEM is to set the points at 4000 and watch me get clueless on what to do with all these troops! Most of the time, I spend like 500 on defenses, 1500 on soldiers, and 2000+ on artillery. Heh.
Anyway, just today I downloaded Wild Bill's A Deadly Diversion and played through the first mission, and a part of the second, and I'm absolutely hooked to the game again. Where do I find more scenarios/campaigns around this size? The campaign so far has been perfect for my skill level (even though I lost the second mission; I didn't think I'd meet the Japanese so early) and -perfect- for my preferred ammount of units. Can anyone point me towards a good scenario/campaign for this? Thanks!
(Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in.)
P.s.;
A large reason why I loved Wild Bill's campaign, was because in the first mission, I had a group of 4 natives with misc. small arms... and they alone killed two whole squads of Japanese soldiers and had a third retreating, before losing two guys thanks to that dang sniper. If my opponent had been human, he would've been screaming at me.
