needing my first pbem game

Post by h_h_lightcap »

Look----
Dont laugh. I have been playing SP since SP1, but have never played PBEM. So now I'm finally ready. I dont know how to set it up is there a host etc..... I know about the PBEM save slots but that is all. Care to slaughter me?

Conditions:
1) I have 2 kids one a developmentally delayed son, and a full time job---so only 1-2 turns per week guarenteed--sorry.
2) Will play most years and most countries.
3) Would like to keep the points low about 2000-5000.
4) Europe or North Africa please---I think this will teach me more about combined arms.
5) c and c and vehicle and weapon breakdown off all others on.
6) 10% arty and air max

Please email me and let me know if you want to play-----

Thanks------Henry Holyoak Lightcap

Two days and no one has replied yet??

This is weird. I know a lot of people have been having trouble posting on the threads. Password failures etc.

Sooo,,,,,

My dance card is quite full but if its only one turn a week. I can manage that.

How about Canadians vs Germans. Fall of '44. You pick the side. 3000 points.

What you do is select Play by Email? Battle> set your sides date etc. change preference accordingly. Buy your stuff and send to me to do the same and I email back with my deploy done. You deploy and play turn one. Use winzip to zip the files together under a suitable name like BuzzHolyoakH2Hfremail7T00. This tells me and you what the file is. H2Hfr is the version. email7 is the slot. T00 is the turn number.

Read the attachment and ask for clarification if you need it. Anything can be changed from what has been the norm.

Email me or PM with any questions.

Did you read the attachment? and what version do you have. H2Hfr is interesting. It has no willy bumps (*)

8.1 is okay as well. Or 8.2 if its ready. I haven't looked. We'll get securuty messages if we don't start with same OOBs
