1700 Hours
Our orders are to advance against the Russian horde at Tula and push them back. It is very cold but clear out today you can see forever it seems. This will be of great benifit to us as we can pick them off way before they get to our lines. Vis is around 1500 feet. We will move out to meet the enemy at 1700 Hours. Our tanks have already begun to start there engines and begin the pre warm up before moving out. I can hear the deep rumble of the stugs starting up from here.
A company will run the road and swing south on the west side of a small line of hills before going over the top to confront the enemy just west of the objective area. B will swing north at the road just west of the line of hills and line up there before moving on to the north objective area. Three platoons of tanks will cover there left or northern flank as they move forward.
There will be three platoons of tanks in the south that will move forward and take the southern objectives at the same time. We expect to see a large concetration of enemy armor come against us today hopefully the range will give us the upper hand today.
See recon photo to see how we plan to use the low hills in front of us to move our men up into range of the objective areas before being exposed to enemy fire.
