A lot of problems.....

Important note: I had installed the 1.02 version. (and i Try the 1.03 unofficial upgrade)

1st bug (the game is impossible to play)

I'm in 1940, i'm playng with Axis countries like human (Germany, Italy, Finland, etc)

All axis countries are at "very easy" level. All allied countries are at normal level, with exception of URSS (hard level). (I hate this, but it's a temptative suggest in a forum to resolve the problem of production....)

France collapse, Vichy is founded. Germany has a production about 130PP/Week. Great, now I can to think to URSS....

I receive an alert (event): I must pay 300 pp to explain the "long war" to germany population. If I don't pay, I'll have wrong effects in the future.

I choose to pay 300PP. My PP folling down to -290 (I had some PP when I push the button "Ok") Disaster!!!

Now I have a negative production!!!! in 3 turns my PP folling down to -430!!!!!! (no buy ship, no events, no buy nothing!!!!)

Please, HELP!!!

2nd Bug (disgusting)

In the game there is a rule about the maintenance of units? in a previous game I had the same problem of 1st bug: after 250 turns (GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!) my production "switch" in negative mode, and the only way to restore the problem is ....... eliminate my units!!!!!!!!

If you introduce a rules about "maintenace" of units, please announce and write the rules!!!!!! An indicator, a message in a bottle, something......

3rd Bug (minor)

If Italy declare war on Yugoslavia in 1939 it's impossible send a convoy from Italy to Tirana. Italy is on war, but Albania cannot receive reforniments. We are Italians, not Idiot, I suppose we are able to send some ship from Bari to Albania........



Please help, I love the game but it's impossible to play with this problems!!! And I pay for that......

Imo this is a bug or a bad rule, solution:
a: You have to have a unit of your own in the city, in this case a german even if its an italian city and do not leve or you brake the convoy. This will brake the italian convoy and he will get much redused suply. If you have italy AI you have to take control, move out the italy unit, move in a german and then change back to AI. This is extra inportent in africa. I almost lost there before I by an accident figgerd out this.
b: If the city have railway then its enought to have a german unit somewhere in the railway net. Watch out for broken railways.

This is most likly the same problem.
When it say Collected xxxPP thats not what you get. You get Collected - Total Upkeep and that can end up in the red.
Exremly inportent in this case is Threshold (find it under reports- upkeep).
Threshold for germany is 270 (lvl1) if you go over this number (or exactly 270) your army upkeep will go up A LOT even if its just by one point.
In other words your PP/week income can go down A LOT, even in the red, by just placing one inf div or even by just reinforce a unit. So dont try to have 269 or you are beging for problem
So how do you know how much you have?
Each unit is wort a number of points (under 100% then less)(lvl dont mater).
inf div 1, inf corp 3
not sure about mec and arm but its something like
mec div 2, mec corp 6
arm div 3, arm corp 9
I think its a bit less but you get it.
Watch out if you upgrade a unit.
Units not placed on the map dont count.
Air and ships dont count.
All contrys have difrent threshold and cost if you go over.

At first you may think that this is a bad rule (I did) but its for simulate the fakt that germany had powerful units but never enought of them so you will be pressed to place and use your units wisly. Also to force you to depend a bit on your allys otherwise they are almost pointles.
Now I think its a wery good rule, without it you would just steamroll sovjet. If you dont like it I sugest you test sovjet next as they have a threshhold of 800 (lvl1).

Sorry, but I don't understand.
Bug n° 3 : Italy and Germany are NOT allied!!! Italy attack Yugoslavia BEFORE the alliance with Germany became operational!!!
I think that game are beautiful because you can try some "what if", and I like try new routes. But if Italy declares war to Yugolavia, why Italy cannot send convoy to Tirana? Bah! And, 2nd, after the victory (remember, Italy is not a german ally) the strategic movement became impossible. Ihave all the italians troops near Belgrade but I need 1 year to move them to Trieste or Tirana. Hey, with a skateboard you need one day, more or less.... [&:][&:][&:]
Bug 1 and 2:
I create a lot of German army, but I produce based on PP in my hand. Example: in turn 45, I have 125 pp. I bought 3/4 infantry Korps, some division, etc. All ok. In turn 46 my production is ...... - 100pp. And this is logic for you? Do you think is correct? Albert Speer produce 4 infantry corps (more or less 200.000 man!!!!) and the week after the nation is in a complete collapse, totally unable to repair a kubelwaghen in Alexander Platz!!!
I can understand the reasons for the rule, but you MUST have an indicator, an alarm, something who say " Hey man, you can buy that, but you haven't gasoline enough to move that!!
You give me the value of maintenance: ok, but give me a window, a report in the game!!!! I cannot play with a mouse in right hand and a calculator in the left hand!!!!
Last but not least: i think the rule is orrible, because is a "short way" to repair at an A.I. very poor. You want limit the German power? Create a progressive major cost of replacement!!!! Hey, now I'm unable to mantain the german army IN 1940!!!!! 1940!!!!!! Hystorically german army was at his best in 1942!!!!

Ah, another beautiful thing: In 1940 I defend the Atlantic Wall with.... CZEC units, because the CZEC has no problems of maintenance !!! 1 division per week, ok, but in unlimited way!!!!!!

Please, please, please, please : 1) give the opportunity to deactivate the maintenance for the units (If I pay I can choose..... i think is not a wrong way...) 2) However, create a windows with the possibility to control these problems.

I'm not sure what you're doing wrong to get such negative PP production. You could go to an easier level to gain more PP's per turn. Or you can use the PP cheat key which is F12. I haven't used it but some say that with the F12 function you can add PP's to regain a positive total. You do have to be careful of how big an army you field, you have to keep it affordable and you have to be careful to leave room for when you have unit tech level upgrades that can raise strength and therefor cost.
