Can Rabul be taken?

I just sent 4 CAs and 11 DDs in there to try a bombardment and wound up sinking about 8 jap dds and 4 CAs, a couple CLs, and 6 APs. I just lost one CA the St Louis which hurt and two DDs while sustaining moderate damage to the rest!

So now I'm thinking dammmm maybe I can take it. I just started to get the 1st Marine Div in. If I take Rabul I've pretty much one this game right?

If you are thinking about taking Rabaul in August then you are obviously playing the AI. Aren't you bored by now? Don't you think it's time to take on a human?

Hi Cap,

Well, I just dont think Id be patient enough. This game has me hooked. I play non stop for hours on end. I dont think I can wait for emails to come and take a turn and send an email back. Maybe playing head to head on my lan I could see but emails?

lol we solve this problem by taking on two or three e-mails games at a time. I've heard some players have as many as 8 games going.

I say go for it and then let us know haow it went. But do a Recon first it might take more than one division.

Be sure to include some DMS with your transport group. Rabaul starts the game with a defensive minefield.
