Unable to Download Mac 1.04a Patch

Hi guys, long time since last visit.

I just bought UoC and the new Red Turn for Mac.

Red Turn advised that I need to update the base game to 1.04a and re-directed me to the game's Matrix page. On clicking the 1.04a download, I received a message the Safari could not open the page due to an unknown error.

Any ideas here (I logged a support issue just now too)?

Also - I've download Red Turn and see a folder called "Unity of Command Red Turn DLC" - how do I install it? What do I need to do?!

I reckon they've only put up the windows patch for download.

Hi Chris, long time!

I just found a "back way" in using the sticky thread above "Unity of Command Turns Red". The DMG download works fine there but the link appears to be broken in the Download section for some reason.

Now applied, the patch recognizes the Red Turn DMG I've already downloaded too, and I'm up and running [:)]

IMO developers looking to create for the Mac platform should take advantage of the App Store medium. It makes things completely streamlined for the buyer - and in the end, that's what counts. They may give up some profit as a result, but a bigger buying audience might make up for it.

Mac really needs some good games out there.
