Better stock map?

Post by Rising-Sun »

Wondering if anyone ever manage to make a better map than the stock map ingame?

I though about making one, but it take alot of timing and efforts to do it.

Long ago, Andrew Brown (who also designed the Witp-AE map) did a modded map for the game. The thread is still there but the links to the download site no longer seem to be in business. He added a lot of new bases. I recall it looked much like the stock map for the current game.

Hardly seems worth it twenty years on and the game has had a sequel.

Thanks for the reply, yeah i think i saw one map NE of Australia and look pretty good and i would say better than the stock map.

Wish someone would upload that map, if they have it. Like to try out this game, but feel like it need some extra kicking to make it interesting game.

Going to check and see if i can contact him and check the mod sections, might be around. So he havent been around since February, so idk if he still around or not.
