Nemo jumped a bunch of Kates onto his CV's and blasted a supply convoy.......6 ships doomed to sink.

He is now off the southern shore of NZ with his CV's.

Shifting the 7th Aus back south on 22 knot AP's at flank speed. Shifting 80 PE2's by ship to OZ........64 Spitfires nearing Perth, but still 1 week away.

Have had to suspend my airlift ops......Nemo began intercepting them. Our replays are so out of synch, that I have completely abandoned the replay. I see half of what happens and it is almost false info and miss too much that does happen.

What makes you think he's going west to oz? He's not positioned that badly to make a run on panama is he? From the look of it a big portion of your assets are in NZ or oz. He he jumps east instead of west, are you positioned to deal with that?

Well, Panama is fort 9 with 400AV in each base. Wasp and her battle group are moving south from Panama right now......they are about 3 days south. Bora Bora has 150AV fort 9.........Suva and Nandi are fort 9 with 150AV in each base. Panama has 80 fighters and 30 bombers........I can shift around 100 bombers to Panama from US quickly, but with his virtual Uber CAP, well he can and will get ashore anywhere he chooses.

I do have alot of forces in OZ and NZ.......most actually. I have 1st marine Div in SF and can easily release the other 3 divs there with my PP's. But shipping is my handycap.......takes forever for my shipping to return to the US from OZ/NZ. And even then, it needs time to repair all the system damage they rack up.

I really hope he goes for NZ, because I have the best chance to destroy his troops there. After they smash themselves on my forts. I will just have to wait and see. Panama will be a long sail for him from Noumea.....his closest base.

2ndACR,

1.  Why do you have 400AV at Derby?  Unless you are on the verge of launching an invasion from Derby, you have too much infantry there doing nothing - insufficient to defend against IJA units released from India, and incapable of being properly supplied.

2.  Where and why are you moving the 7th Aust Div to?  Surely, based on your earlier posts, you already have adequate garrisons located in SE Australia.  Again you seem to be rushing to augment a passive defence force structure.  With the IJN operating in the Tasman Sea, the only immediate rationale that comes to mind to explain the transport is that you are attempting to constitute a mobile theatre reserve able to move between Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane.  However with 1000AV already at Sydney, doesn't that already represent a mobile reserve of some 600AV able to sprint towards Brisbane.

3.  I would totally discount an enemy move on Panama.  Firstly, he would first need to obtain bases much closer to Panama (Fiji, Bora Bora etc) before essaying such a move.  Secondly Panama does not advance the Japanese position that much.  If Nemo ever considers that he is in a realistic position to move on Panama, then he would also assess that he has the resources to move on the West coast of the USA, an offensive which would be much more logical and beneficial than moving on Panama.

4.  Overall I am simply not hearing how you propose to actually defeat Nemo.  In this mod, unlike stock and where VP count for nothing, the Allies will not draw, let alone win, by doing nothing.  Now, whilst he is still occuppied with Siberia and India, is when you should be preparing the conditions for an eventual Allied victory.
