Opponent Wanted

Post by Capt »

I'm an experienced but not expert player looking for a reliable opponet for the long campaign. Have never played Japan but could give it a try. Prefer Allies because they are easier.

Looking for 1 or more turns a day. This game could take over a year real time.

Most everything negotiable.

Capt - I am game! I currently have two games going as the Japanese so need to be the Allies in this game. Can't commit to a turn a day but am good for 4 - 5 a week. What in house rules do you propose?

Here is a very good opponent who has handily beaten me in UV and WITP, more than a few times. A better opponent is hard to find. If I didn't have a full plate I'd take up this gauntlet.

Someone who handily beats tocaff? Why do I feel like I am getting led to the slaughter by someone posing as a recruit?

Todd was just being kind. The games have split about evenly with one side or the other winning because of a lucky naval air battle or two. We played down to the bitter end once with the Japanese cities in flames but it wasn't any fun.

Yeah that game as the Japanese cured me of playing that side for a very long time. Once the KB is gone it's pretty much looking for a spot of try to sting rather than accomplish anything of consequence. Steve, in my current game, has been a master at stinging and delaying and sometimes outright bashing me.

Complete newby to the game but willing to give it a go. (I'm already bored with the AI, so am willing to get kicked around in order to learn the game faster.) Can you send me a PM and we can discuss?
