leningrad error?

Hi when it comes to teh leningrad mission, there supply and units menu pops up at the start but then disappears and no amount of tapping will bring up back on - i am playing this on teh ipad. The mission would be impossible to play without this menu because you only have a few units at the start and none that can even really dent any of the rows of tanks and defenses the russians have. - it woudl seem to be an error i believe, and there is no indication anywhere that this will not be available in the scenario

We have had this issue reported to us, so we are currently looking into this. I have only got the PC version and supply works as expected on that. I will let you know when I know more. Sorry for the delay while I look into this.

great thanks - it must be an ipad bug then - i have gone into the mission many times and the menu is not accessible which basically makes no progression past leningrad possible. otherwise its a good simple casual game thanks

Just to keep you updated, I have tested the game on the office iPad and I have been able to resupply on every turn (I went as far as about 6 turns in and just attacked on every turn). Can I ask, were you doing anything specific which may have affected supply, e.g. have you taken any cities? I have chased this with the developers anyway, but I wanted to check this with you now I have had the chance to test it.

Did you play the leningrad mission? All the missins up to there are fine for me, on the leningrad missin the supply/reinforcements menu which one can tap to bring up in the earlier missions, simpy will not appear in the mission

Yes. I also have a customer on the helpdesk who is having the same issue as you on the Stalingrad scenario, which I have not been able to test. But I have tested your issue on the Leningrad scenario and did not encounter it. There was a similar issue earlier in the year, which was fixed.

Just to confirm, are you using the latest version of the game? Also, are you doing anything specific to achieve this or is happening from the start of the scenario?

hi, no i havent done anything specific - i am playing the game on ipad, and i did a reinstall of it today, i am playing the game again and will get up to teh leningrad mission again soon and i will see if it happens again

Well unfortunately i cant seem to get back to the leningrad mission as its now crashing straight after i complete minsk, it does it at the results screen which means it doesnt save and i have to keep redoing minsk but only to have it crash makes it not worth the effort - it is very clear that you need to patch the ipad version forthese instsbility issues as well as supply menu failures

I will also pass this new crash to the developers. For now, if you need to skip any missions, e.g. Minsk and Leningrad, then when you are in the mission, tap menu open and closed until the mission will skip (I think you need to open the menu 8 times). This will allow you to progress the game.

Unfortunately this doesnt work for me because the game will frequently but randomly crash just when i hit the 'load' button for the minsk mission so i cant consistently get into the misssion to do this either

its crazy, but the game is getting progressively worse for me - i have done a reinstall on my ipad2 of it and now the game keeps crashing at the Brest mission - mid mission and if i go back into the game i have to start again! i dont want to really skip any missions as i want to get teh prestige (i presume its relevant for something?) it seems the ipad version of the game seems to degrade after reinstalling it

Hello Agathos,

Yes, I understand your frustration. There are some tricks I could try if this was happening on Android, but unfortunately the iOS doesn't have any easy tricks like clearing cache or data, so if it is degrading after each install, then one of the only things that may stop this would be to do a system restore, which would format the hard drive. However this will also clear all user data across the whole iPad, so I would not advise this. The developers are aware of the issue and are working towards a fix of this.

good news i think - i installed the recent ipad update and have been able to play the game so far without the crashes - i havent gotten back to the leningrad mission yet but i will be keen to see if it is still borken with its supply menu

well i got all the way to leningrad mission again and again the supply/reinforcments menu WILL NOT come up - there is nothing i have done differently, i repeat nothing i have differently
- as with all the missions one taps the tab which has the barrels on it and the menu comes up, but on the Leningrad mission i tap it and it just will not appear

again i will repeat there is nothing have done differently and this has only occurred for me on the Leningrad mission - please test this for yoruself - i have done reinstalls of this on my ipad and done all the updates for IOS now and it stll does not work - so basically i will not be playing this again until you can fix this recurring bug that basically breaks the game at Leningrad - unless you have deliberately designed the supply/reinforcements menu to be inaccessible for the the scenario though it makes the mission impossible to complete
