Soundtrack edition

I noticed this version avaliable on Steam. What is the difference?

The soundtrack edition comes with the game's (excellent IMHO)soundtrack that you can upload to iTunes or what have you. Mode 7 is going to be selling it separately at some point, so you can pick it up later as an iTunes DL if you want.

I like electronic music quite a bit and I am fairly well up on the UK electronic and dub scene. I might have to spring for the soundtrack edition so I can have it on my iPhone.

I can vouch for the soundtrack being one of the best for an indie game. If you like electronic music you definitely won't be disappointed. The first two songs alone are worth it.

Guys also FYI, if you purchase a regular version of the game, the sound track is in your game install in OGG format.

In your Frozen Synapse directory go to:

\FrozenSynapse\psychoff\data\sound\Final\Music

You will need an OGG player to play the files and there are many solutions to set this up. I recommend you download OGG Vorbis to allow Windows Media Player or a variety of other music players to support OGG:

If I do buy this, I would rather buy from you rather than Steam. Can you convert OGG to AAC?

Also, am I alone in thinking that this would make a fantastic iPad game?

Based on a Google Search, I found this response:

iTunes unfortunatly does not support OGG Vorbis. However, there is a plugin which can allow you do this http://qtcomponents.sourceforge.net/ , you'll need Quicktime 6 and iTunes to use it. If you are using windows, there are a bunch of different programs that can convert you OGG files to AAC - dbPowerAMP , foobar2000 , Winamp , and many more...just try a google search.
