How good is the AI?

Frozen Synapse is a thrilling PC strategy game that brings the simultaneous turn-based strategy genre bang up-to-date and lets you give detailed, accurate orders to your squad. I find the AI to be nicely challenging.  Of course, an experienced player will be able to out-think it on most occasions, but even now I lose a game every so often.
