Joining Multiplayer question

So I go to the multiplayer options tab and click the launch button. It goes to teh load screenm but jsut sticks on Waiting for Server to Respond.

So the questions are : The IP address in the top box. Does it have to be who I am
playing?

If so, does that mean that when I play different people I need to
get the different IPs for each time I log onto tme MP sever?



When it goes to load the Session Configuration screen I see it
says Lobby, Sessions, and Players in session on the top, and Creat, Join, and Cancel across the bottom.

So is there a " lobby " type screen to view various games currently being started, where you could pick to join a game?

Davard,

Yes you have to have a partner(s) to play against, one of whom has to set up the server. They will have to give you their IP address which you fill in in the MP tab.

It does require some communication to get these set up, for which we generally use the Harpoon IRC channel. I saw you there earlier but was unable to answer you there.

Yeah I tried having to much stuff going on at once and had to close some windows.

Ok that answered it for me. So now just to find some one to shoot at
