Error Code 2 after patching

Error Code 2 after patching.

Ok, I have been running the game for a few days now, and then I updated to the .001 patch and now when I try to launch the game I get an error code 2, something about it doesnt like the registry number? First off, why do you require someone to resubmit their Registration number while patching or updating?

I sent the email to the support desk like the message said, and then after posting that, it said to post here.

So help would be appreciated...I really liked the Jagged Alliance series, but so far this one is lacking, and I would like to see more improvement.
