Show Video on Win7 64-bit

Post by beads »

Hi all

I've done some searching and haven't found anything on this topic so far, so throwing this question into the ring.

This is not very grog-ish, but I really enjoy the videos in Harpoon, dating from Harpoon 2 days. The fighter take-offs at night, the ship rocking as a missile slams into it (with a very satisfying boom!) all add a great dimension to the game for me.

Try as I might, I can't get the videos for H3ANW to show on my Win7 64-bit PC.

Tried the H3 config menu, in-game settings, windowed and non-windowed, no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Sorry for late answer, but check these boxes in video and sound options; I have 64bits Win7 as well and it works:

*Video Settings --> Show videos
*Show video at --> tick every box you wish.

Thanks for the response!

Unfortunately I've tried all the obvious stuff, and checked those boxes in various combinations with windows mode, configs etc.

I might have to try a re-install...

Hi there,

If you re-install, I recommend that you create a subfolder "Matrix Games" in the C:/ disk; since Win7 and above are pain in the neck when some softwares are installed in the "Program files" directory.
