Where to find spy equipment?

Hello,
Enjoying the game. I've taken the infiltrate mission and I've been told to get 'spy equipment' upgrade from a friendly port. No matter where I go there is no 'spy equipment' upgrade. I may just be missing it.
I just need a little help.

It's probably on a pirate base.

I could not get them on the pirate base.
Most be something obvious that I'm missing.

You have to imagine spy sensors to be consisting of many very large computers with radio antennas all over the ship etc. etc. A small ship is not able to hold these fast amounts of special equipment. That´s why you need to have a cruiser in order to purchase and carry them.

It is available different ways based on your profession.

Playing as a mercenary, it is available as a skill you can obtain when promoted.

For spy missions, you must have BOOTHS - spy equipment (upgrade from computer) and ability in criminal? tree.

Yeah I think you need the skill and equipment to run them but not very sure about this ...
