Two-Minute Drill

Post by MPHopcroft1 »

This has as much to do with play-calling as anything else, but how do you run a two-minute drill in MaxFB?

As we all know, the goal of a 2-minute drill is to run as many effective offensive plays in as short a time as possible. That means calling judicious timeouts, sending receivers to the sidelines so they can step out of bounds, etc. how do you do that in this game? I haven't even figured out how to call a timeout yet!

As your players are going back into the huddle after the end of a play, hit the "3" key (or the middle mouse button). That should call the timeout for you.

Within the playbooks you can set very detail profiles, example if the team is down by X points with two min. left in the half, with certain yardage specifications and down, the offense will only run plays set in the profile.  On the other hand a profile can be set up for a team that is up by X points with X time, down and distance, to use only prevent plays set for the profile.

Unfortunately as of now I dont think any of the playbooks have been total set up with profiles for all situations.
