Can I create option routes for wideouts to run

Can design pass plays that will take advantage of how the defense is playing ie a CB giving too much cushion ? thanks

No, there are no option routes. One can set up double moves, but the play will follow only the prescribed route.

One can design plays that will take advantage of coverage schemes. One can design plays with quick hitch passes, skinny posts, or slants for use against deep zone coverage. Zones can be flooded, and mismatches can be created against man coverage or zone. Using the flats against man coverage and creating clearing routes can be done as well.

No defense will work against all offenses, and no offense is supreme over all defenses.
