UBC Thunderbirds

I have made unis for the UBC Thunderbirds and it's available for download on fbmax. It's my first attempt at unis so hopefully it's good.

There is some pink problems with your L1 and here are a couple of tips that may help (I am going to assume you use either PSP or PhotoShop).

I think you might have done some logo resizing with the pink as a background. That will always lead to pink "banding" around the logo. In your case, since the logo is outlined in yellow, it may have been beneficial to do any resizing for your L1 on a darker (or lighter) yellow background before either using the magic wand to select then copy it over to the pink (you'll have to play around with the tolerance level on the wand to highlite what you want), or flood filling the background (after logo is the proper size) with the pink.

If you run into a problem with pink already around the L1 (or green if L3A) and you can't go back (and use the process mentioned previously), you can get rid of it by liberal use of the color replacer tool - select the "off pink" color and a lighter variant of the logo outline color (zoom in and have a look at the pixels) and replace this pinkish color with the other (you will need to play around with the tolerance level on the color replacer tool as well so you end up with what you want).

Another way to remove some already existing pink banding is to use the magic wand (play around with the tolerance) and select the logo (making sure none of the pinkish color gets selected with it as well) and recopy it onto a pink background (you will likely need to do a bit of pixel editing here as well).

Hope these pointers help with the dreaded pink or green banding. And once again, good job with the UBC Thunderbirds!

(P.S. Might have to do my alma mater, Simon Fraser University down the road to give UBC some competition - though in reality, UBC almost always beats SFU in the Shrum Bowl[:@] ).
