NFL player faces from Madden

Hey everybody,

While Madden still remains locked down when it comes to actually editing textures, I have figured out a way to extract the game's textures to BMP format - faces, uniforms, everything.

Now, I know this might be a touchy subject, so I will not post how to do this in the event the moderators here look down on what could basically lead to content theft from EA's product, but if I get the ok I will show you how to extract textures from Madden and i'll post a few examples here. Some of the faces are pretty good quality and i'm sure they could be used in any NFL addon for MaxFB, but as I said, I don't want to get in trouble with the mods here so i'll happily refrain if this topic is deemed too touchy.

I did actually post this first on FootballFreaks under the thread "Madden's textures - some progress" (or something similar) in the utility forum, however FF seems down right now.....again

Oh and I'm not sure about making utilities for MF.....to be honest, the actual amount of coding involved for making stuff for Madden's rosters and franchise files is little more than arrays, loops and basic operations in VB.net. It was a guy called Suchy63 who created the DLL file that actually deals with the Madden files, I just tell the DLL what to do. So i'm not a coding expert at all really, so unless MF is as easy as that, it's probably above my level of understanding
