Adelaide Alumni Football League- Season 2

Post by bneil »

Season 2 of the AAFL has kicked-off. Will the Two Blues defend their crown or will the Penguins atone for their shock loss in last years Grand Final. Head over to http://www.tigers2kx.net/index.html for all the results.

Go Blacks!

bobneil, you have nice game stats. Have you done any editing on your constants file? This is the thing that I'm 'constantly' tweaking. Is it pssible you could post your constants file?

Marauders:Thanks for your feedback. It is greatly appreciated.

DT: I haven't played around with the constants file but for the season 2 I have modified the simgame dat file. I will continue to experiment. I'm trying to get similar game stats for both simmed and played-out games. Would you like me to send you both files?

Week 2 is in the books. Some exciting finishes with all gate receipts going to help the victims of the Victorian bushfires. Over 180 lives were lost and country towns were wiped off the map.

Week 3 is in the books. The four undefeated teams in the South played each other. Last season's Conference Finalist the Woodpeckers and Two-Blues in one game and the Rattlers and Froggers in the other. In the Central the Blacks were looking to spoil the Starlets perfect start to the season.

Last season the Blacks were lucky enough to win the close ones. The luck will need to turn.

Adelaide U gets a much needed win. Convincing and televised, too.

An unprecedented 6 televised games. Are the Rattlers still undefeated? Which team will remain winless- the Warriors or the Whackers? Week 5 results are up.

The second half of the season has begun. From here on it is make or break for some teams. Three big rivalry games attracted the most attention- Spooners v Tigers, Cavalry v Two Blues and Tyros v Penguins.

Kewl,

Watched some of your game clips
I have to say adding the Brass Band to the visuals was a stroke of genius
really added to atmosphere, I really enjoyed it.
