Tiger-Cats 32 - Argonauts 13

Post by Brockleigh »

F*@&ING EH!!!!

Unbelieveable. The Cats won in Toronto for the first time since 2001 and the first time on the road since 2006. You know, I don't want to get all hyped over one game, especially after they looked absolutely pitiful against the Alouettes last week, but damn the Tabbies looked strong. They looked competent, composed, Casey Printers looked comfortable under Center. The secondary needs a little tightening up, and the D-line didn't provide enough pressure to my liking until the last couple of possessions, but I'm a Happy Cat.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

A friend of mine plays for Toronto, Jamal Robertson. So I try to catch all their games.

Did you guy's see Kenny Wheaton's hit on Jason French? OMG! He hit him so hard his unborn children will have a concussion.

Oh yeah. French got smoked. I couldn't believe how hard he got hit, but then again, Kenny Wheaton is the hardest hitter in the CFL right now, so you go over the middle at your own risk.

Did you see Lumsden sprint away from the Argo DBs on his last touchdown run? [X(] Wow! That guy has got wheels.

And cue the QB mess in Toronto! I don't know what those guys were thinking, bringing in 2 starting QBs, but it's about to blow up, now. Joseph did not look good, but they left him in, and Bishop was not pleased.

Yeah Bishop looked pissed on the sidelines. This could get ugly very quickly, especially if they are losing.

I really don't see what anyone sees in Michael Bishop. Pure and simple, he ain't smart enough to play Quarterback. When they can say, "Here's the gameplan. Follow it to the letter," he can look okay. But as soon as he gets into trouble he just tries to throw his way out of trouble, forcing passes where they shouldn't be thrown. He can't make pre-snap reads, and he can't read defenses after the snap.

He's a brain donor, pure and simple. When those Argo fans start bitching and moaning for them to put in Bishop, and Stubler listens... well, be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

Joseph didn't look bad Thursday. It was the rest of the offense that let them down. The Argos should ride Joseph until the wheels fall off.

Wait, I'm a Tiger-Cats fan. Put in Bishop!!! Do it now!!!
