Player seeding question.

Post by SFMac »

While processing my thoughts (always a difficult task) on how to set up my Association within PureSim, I had an 'OH-OH' moment. If I want to seed my Association with real Major League players do they have to come from the same season or can I select players from different years? The owners manual doesn't seem (to me at least) to address this issue.

They do not have to be from the same season. There is an option to append the year after the player name when importing, in case that would be meaningful for you. I haven't done the sandbox mode, so I can't help much on setting it up. Maybe someone else can add more.

LOL...Did you have your "OH face" on too ?

Sandbox mode is what you want. You can import by team or by individual player if I recall correctly. As said above, there is an option to append the players import year to the end of his name, which could be helpful to you also, so a player would look like Babe Ruth'27 if imported from 1927
