Display Resolution question

Post by puresimmer »

Hey guys, about 4 months ago I got this gorgeous DELL 24" Flat Panel Display and I run Windows Vista in 1920x1200 resolution.

So, PureSim's window is a bit small, but not awful. Anyway, while it would be a massive undertaking to completely re-write the user interface to be fully sizable (not coming any time soon), I am considering maybe adding some addtional features that might be able to be displayed if someone is running in a higher resolution.

So, my question is, how many of you typically run Windows XP or Vista at a higher desktop resolution that 1024x768? I need to know if I should even consider it before I stary giving it any real thought.

1280x1024 on 19" LCD

I have no problem going bigger too but like you said some of the programs we use make them look too small so I feel 1280x1024 is comfortable for me.

Dell XP Laptop CAPABLE of 1920 x 1200   -    but running at 1440 x 900 because of the difficult to see aspect Shaun mentioned with MANY programmes at the resolution.

TBear - think you and I might be the only ones who run at 1440 x 900 as I dont see it very often  [:)]
