Condition Good

Post by moranacus »

I'm just about ready to start playing when I noticed 2 of my players have only a GOOD CONDITION while all the others have a FEELING GREAT condition. Is there a reason for this?

What age are the two players?

If they're in their mid- to late-30's (or older) that would probably be normal as the game makes it more difficult for older players to stay "fresh".  From my observations there appears to be no specific age for this to occur (varying from player to player), but I have seen many "older" players get to the point where the best they EVER feel is "fair".

This makes it difficult for these players to play long strings of consecutive games, but then that's also the game's way of simulating reality.  This only seems to occur to position players because with pitchers their endurance rating simply continues to dwindle.

Now if the players are younger, then I'm not sure I know the answer.  [:)]

Thanks for the reply!!!! One player was 26 and one player was 27. They are both position players as well and not pitchers. Its funny, I have Satchel Paige on one of my teams, he's in his 40's and he has a FEELING GREAT condition. At least they aren't really popular players (Ivan Murrell and Gene Locklear). I created 2 Padre teams for my league, one with the not so popular players (the Anchorage Pitiful Padres) and the normal San Diego Padres that had their best players. Thanks again!!!
