Next Up: An association featuring only All-Star players between 1969 and 2008. Only players who actually appeared in All-Star Games are included.

The player's first All-Star appearance (between 69-08) determines their position and whether they're AL or NL. Thanks to the fine folks at retrosheet.org, I have selected a total of 405 AL players and 427 NL players. I envision an assn with 10 AL and 10 NL teams. Players will be assigned to fictional teams randomly.

This will be a sandbox import, multiplayer assn, with all teams under human control. Salaries and trades will be OFF and injuries will be ON. I will allow ratings to change during the season, something I've never done before.

That sounds like fun. What happens if you put all teams under human control?

That setup is probably my favorite. It eliminates AI trading. Games are still simmed by the AI and rosters and rotations can be adjusted by AI daily, weekly, or monthly, using the "Auto Assign Rosters" function. I usually Auto Assign rosters whenever there's an injury and and additional twice per month, per team.
