French Indochina starts as W. Allies?

I have been playing 1.202 for a while with no problem and all of a sudden French Indochina starts the game brown. So I take the Japanese Airbone sitting on the island there and invade it on turn 1 (Spring 1940). D'oh, it unlocks the W. Allies.

It costs me a resource point by them having it and it definitely is some sort of game corruption. I am pretty sure that reinstalling will fix it but should I save over a save file or a particular directory for debugging?

Update: I have reinstalled and installed the update three times. The first time a simple uninstall and an install of the game and patch. The second time I went in and manually removed any keys in the registry referring to GGWaW (nothing really in there). The third time I rebooted the computer, downloaded the patch again, and repeated everything else. The full directory is getting deleted between installs as it is uninstalls but the same problem comes up every install... namely that French Indochina belongs to W. Allies in Spring 1940.

I have saved the 'save' subdirectory and the main files within the 'dat' directory (erasing 'video', 'sound', and 'art' for space) so I can pull whatever files are needed from the original install or from my current install to email or whatever. I did start to wonder if it wasn't a rule change or something like that but I have been playing 1.202 and have been playing Axis and so have been having no problems until the middle of today. I checked the 1.202 Readme and nothing was mentioned there.

French Indochina does indeed start as WA territory (it was French) but when Vichy France is triggered (when Paris falls), it should immediately become Japanese. I'm not sure whether this is happening correctly in your game or not but wanted to mention it.....

Ah, that is it. Thanks so much. What I am doing is testing some Japanese research strategies (along with some interaction with China/Russia) so I am running through the other 2 world powers until I get to what I need to do. I was too lazy to have Germany take France.
