Alt-Tab

I don't know if these forums are read now that AWD is out, but I need some info.

I have only just fired this game up again after a very long time from it...so can't remember if this happened historically or not.

I have the pdf manual running need to refere to it quite a bit. When I Alt-Tab out to the manual and try to Alt-Tab back from the pdf, I get a black patch on the screen - not full resolution (my screen res is 1280x1024) and I can hear the game music, but I can't get the graphics back.

Is it a known issue with alt-tabbing and GG:WaW or is it my system?

I know this doesn't mean a great deal, but I can Alt-Tab out of other games (COTA a prime example) and alt-tab back without crashing.

I have the latest patch installed (1.2.0.2)

To avoid the game from crashing, you have to launch it in windowed mode, then you'll be able either to alt-tab or minimize the screen and change to the manual without problems.

The alt-tab problem in full window mode unfortunately was never fixed, it's not your problem it happens to everyone as far as I know.
