where was retail serial number listed

I want to install on a new computer but can no longer find my serial number. Where would that have been given in the retail boxed game? I don't see it in the printed manual. If it was on the CD envelope, I may have lost it. Is there anything I could do in that case?

You should contact support@matrixgames.com. I think it is on the CD sleeve, but I could be wrong about that.
